Studio Calypso 

Studio Calypso is the creative world of Trinidadian-born artist Jessie Khalawan. Through bold color, expressive storytelling, and emotionally charged imagery, Jessie creates art that celebrates the courage to take up space while staying deeply connected to nature, culture, and one another.

Working across painting, sculpture, and mosaic art, her pieces explore visibility, resilience, femininity, and joy. At the heart of her work is the belief that creativity can heal, connect, and remind people that their stories deserve to be seen.
